Hello everyone!
You may have heard recent news regarding Disaster Relief Assistance for Immigrants (DRAI), and we’re here to fill you in on all you need to know. This is a one-time state-funded disaster aid resource designed specifically for COVID-19-affected immigrants. Adults who apply and are approved will receive up to $1000 in direct help. Continue reading to learn how to apply for this assistance.
If you are eligible, you can apply beginning May 18th through the nonprofit organizations allotted to your county of residence. Only one of the organizations assigned to you will be able to help you with DRAI. The nonprofit organization will assist you in filling out the paperwork and confirming your eligibility.
