Meghan Topolski is an immigration attorney with experience in employment and family-based immigration processes. She received her J.D., cum laude, from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, in 2023. Meghan started her career with Jacobs & Schlesinger as a law student in 2023. When she passed the California Bar Exam in 2023, she became an Associate Attorney at Jacobs & Schlesinger.

Throughout her career so far, Meghan has assisted in successfully representing foreign nationals seeking asylum in the U.S. as well as through the naturalization process. She has also gained experience in obtaining visas for managers, executives, specialized knowledge individuals, investors, and employees involved with companies specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) sectors, including biotechnology, food science, computer science, and renewable energy.

Meghan is extremely passionate about providing accessible legal resources to the community. Throughout her law school career, she worked with non-profits providing post-conviction relief, and representation for special education foster children. She volunteered for two semesters with the California Western Community Law Project, where she provided a variety of resources in housing, family, and immigration law to San Diegans needing some guidance on where to start looking to obtain legal advice where needed. She also externed for The Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia in the Southern District of California federal court. She was a Senior Lead Articles Editor for the California Western Law Review, and actively served the community though her membership with California Western's Public Interest Law Foundation and the Pro Bono Honors Society.

Meghan was inspired to continue her work in immigration law through her various law school experiences, and as the daughter and granddaughter of immigrants from the United Kingdom. Meghan is a member of the California Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Federal Bar Association, and Lawyer's Club of San Diego.
