In law school, Sydney worked for Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs Family Immigration Services, the Immigration Law & Policy Clinic, and the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network. She worked on affirmative applications and defensive cases in Immigration Court with both adults and children. Sydney is conversationally fluent in Spanish. Before joining Jacobs & Schlesinger, Sydney was an Immigrant Justice Corps fellow working in the nonprofit sector.
Sydney is a Denver, Colorado native. She moved to San Diego in the Fall of 2024 and has loved exploring the city. Outside of the office, you can find her running, hiking, yoga-ing, book-clubbing, and spending time with friends and family.
Sydney believes that immigrants make the country better and works to advocate for her clients in a way that promotes their autonomy. She is a member of the Colorado Bar and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is honored to do this work.
