Alysha Vazquez is an Associate Attorney at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP. She graduated from San Diego State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree, summa cum laude, in Criminal Justice. In 2022, she received her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, with a concentration in International Law. Her interest in international law, human rights, and victims rights fueled her passion to pursue a career in immigration law.

While in law school, she dedicated her early legal experience to helping survivors of sex and labor trafficking, domestic violence, and child abuse. She gained prior experience helping individuals apply for U Visas and protection under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Her volunteer work at the Community Law Project has allowed her to assist the local community in various areas of law, including criminal, employment, landlord-tenant, child custody, and divorce law. Alysha served on the executive board of the California Western International Law Journal and served as president of California Western's International Law Society.

Alysha's practice primarily focuses on removal defense, asylum, humanitarian protections, family petitions, VAWA, U visa petitions, T visa petitions, waivers, DACA, and naturalization. She is devoted to serving the immigrant community and dedicated to helping clients navigate the immigration system in a trauma-informed manner.

She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and Latinas in the Law.

Alysha is admitted to the State Bar of California.
