Daisy Olivarez

Daisy Olivarez, Paralegal

Daisy is a Paralegal at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP. Since joining the firm in 2021, Daisy has supported our employment-based team with a variety of case types. She graduated from UC San Diego in 2018 with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish Literature, and in 2021, she received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego. Daisy is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and has always been passionate about immigration. She enjoys assisting our clients with their immigration needs and learning about new case types.

Elianna Villagomez Amador

Elianna Villagomez Amador, Paralegal

Elianna is a Paralegal at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP. She primarily works with our attorneys on removal defense in immigration court. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Psychology with a minor in language studies from UC San Diego. She completed her paralegal certificate program with honors from the University of San Diego in 2026. Elianna is passionate about immigration law. She hopes to continue learning and make an impact on clients’ lives.

Beatrice Medard

Beatrice Medard, Legal Assistant

I am a daughter of Haitian and Dominican (from Dominica) immigrants and an Army Brat. I graduated from Western Washington University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Bachelor’s in Political Science with a minor in Music. I will be starting my 3L year at CWSL next August and will sit for the bar in 2027. I have always been interested in immigration and decided to devote my undergraduate and graduate research on the topic, and enjoy advocating for clients with immigration needs.

Ana Karen Borquez-Wong, Legal Assistant

Ana Karen is a legal assistant at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP. She was raised in the Imperial Valley and moved to San Diego to pursue her college education. In 2021, she graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. Growing up near the border, immigration has always been a part of her life. Since earning her degree, her goal has been to give back to the immigrant community and help them navigate their complex immigration cases. She aims to continue serving the community while expanding her knowledge.

Aislin Palomares, Legal Assistant

Aislin is a Legal Assistant at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP, having joined the firm in 2026. Born and raised in Mexico, she studied Latin American studies at California State University, Los Angeles. She primarily supports the firm’s removal defense team and has a particular interest in asylum law. Aislin enjoys helping clients navigate complex immigration matters and is committed to continuing to learn and grow in the field.

Operations

Jazmin Rodriguez, Office Manager

Jazmin is the Office Manager at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP. Both of her parents immigrated to the U.S. looking for a better future. Jazmin’s parents are agricultural workers in the Imperial Valley, and she considers their life story her inspiration to help others. Jazmin left her hometown to pursue her education and received her bachelor’s degree with cum laude honors from CSU San Marcos in 2017. In 2019, she received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego. She has worked for the firm since November 2017, having started as a Receptionist and working her way up.

Jessica Noriega

Jessica Noriega, Operations Assistant

Jessica Noriega is the Operations Assistant at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP. She received her Bachelor’s degree with cum laude honors in Criminology and Justice Studies, along with two minors in Spanish and Women’s Studies, from California State University, San Marcos, in 2018. Jessica is a native San Diegan and the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. She enjoys working with a team that helps families stay together and informs individuals about the various opportunities available to them.

Jazmine Cope, Operations Assistant & Receptionist

Jazmine Cope is the Operations Assistant and Receptionist at Jacobs & Schlesinger LLP. She graduated with honors from San Diego State University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in 2021. In 2024, she received her Paralegal Certificate with honors from the University of San Diego. As the daughter of immigrants and a member of a large immigrant family, Jazmine aims to create meaningful change and a positive impact on individuals and families seeking immigration services.
