You may have heard recent information on the topic of Disaster Relief Assistance for Immigrants (DRAI), we are here to tell you everything you need to know about the topic. This assistance program is a onetime state funded disaster relief resource created for and available to immigrants impacted by COVID-19. Adults who apply and are approved will receive $500 in direct assistance with a maximum of $1000 per household. Continue reading to learn more about how you can apply for this relief.
Beginning May 18th, if you are eligible to apply you may do so through the nonprofit organizations assigned to your county of residence. You will only be able to receive DRAI assistance from one of the organizations assigned to you. The nonprofit organization will help you fill out the form, and confirm your eligibility.
